Note: On the Side B of the tape it reads "When the Shepherd is Away" in the comments on the youtube video The Scribe writes "when the shepherd is away, what becomes of the flock?" this is enough evidence to assert that this tape was sent by The Scribe.

The Randall in the transcript is most likely Randy Nelson who is currently the Sheriff of Gloaming County and the Sam is most likely Samuel Mallowater who is currently the Mayor of Gloaming County

"RANDALL":
They want more than usual this year.
We can't hold them off much longer.
Folks are starting to talk, Sam.

"SAM" :
Listen, we've got to keep trying.
It's not like we've got much of a choice here.
The fine people Gloaming deserve to sleep well at night.

"RANDALL":
Well, I haven't been getting much sleep with this whole business.

"SAM" :
You're still getting used to your
position. I know. You'll learn.

"RANDALL":
I say we pick a new target.

"SAM" :

You know, it's not up to us.
Once he's fixed on someone, there ain't much we can do...
